Katrine Mürer Stemland was awarded the Best Paper Award for the article ‘Load Effects of ASR-induced Expansion in Reinforced Concrete and Their Consequences for Structural Assessment’. The article is published in Nordic Concrete Research, no. 68, 2023.
The Nordic Concrete Research Best Paper Award is presented every three years at the Nordic Concrete Research Symposium. The prize is awarded to young researchers for an article published in the Nordic Concrete Research Journal between two symposia. The evaluation of the articles emphasizes novelty, research methodology (adequacy and execution), as well as the authors’ communication skills.
